Design Thinking

 Design Thinking

Quite some time ago...
Our ancestors used stones for hunting, but over time they solved this problem and millions of others!

We are constantly confronted with new problems in life, despite our desire to learn how to resolve them.
Finding the right solution or even knowing where to begin can be difficult.

This is where Design thinking comes into play!

Design thinking method involves approaching problems from the point of view of the user in order to find solutions.
Also, it makes it easier to turn your idea into a testable product as quickly as possible.

Empathize

During the empathize stage, you will get to know your target audience and create a picture of who they are. What are the challenges they face? and what are their needs?
It can be determined through interviews, user testing, and surveys. Basically, by talking to people and understanding how they think, act, and feel

Define

Based on what you have learned you will then define your problem statement
As you create your problem statement, consider the user's needs over the business goals.
You will use the problem statement as your North Star to guide your design. If you start losing focus, go back to your problem statement.

Now that we have our problem statement, we are ready to ideate

Ideate

At this point don't hold back. No idea is a bad idea. Let go of traditional boundaries and think outside the box. By pushing past the obvious, your team will come up with breakthrough ideas. You can use a whiteboard and sticky notes to organize your thoughts. Write down everything that comes to mind so that nothing gets lost. It is important that the participants feel comfortable jotting ideas down if you are leading this stage. Allow enough time for free-flowing ideas and discussion before you start narrowing down your ideas.

Prototype

Now it's time to experiment. Start developing solutions to the problems you have identified.

Test

The time has come to test out your ideas and concepts now that you have prototyped them. You should put them in front of users and ask their opinion. You should understand that if your solution resonates with them and solves their problem.
